Eszter Tökölyi

I am Eszter Tökölyi, coach at Pole Heaven.

As early as I can remember, sport has always been part of my life. I wasn't considered a prodigy or outstanding talent. Yet I have been part of a great volleyball team fighting through all obstacles. I do believe I discovered the power of teamwork during these years.

As an adult, I had the opportunity to work with multinational companies travelling through different parts of Europe, learning about diverse cultures. My insatiable curiosity and hunger for information originate from this era. It became part of my everyday life.

I am also a proud mother of two. My life is extremely busy and full of surprises. One of the most favoured qualities of mine is handling challenges with a sense of humour (my kids would most certainly disagree). Both my kids have shown amazing perseverance and dedication to their chosen sport. I have watched with admiration and some envy, how much they can love their sport, which often comes with pitfalls, pain and failure.

Perhaps this gave me the motivation to cross the threshold of the studio of which I am no longer just a member, but a trainer as well.

A wonderful and incredible journey is about to begin. Let me guide you through the mysteries of the sport I love. Let me share my journey, the experiences I have made ever since 2021 and counting... Let us shed all negative judgements about ourselves. Experience how to overcome your inner fear of not being good enough, just by being part of a supportive, inspiring team!

If you're still doubting yourself or worry that this sport isn't for you, or you consider yourself "too old" take a leaf out of my book. I am almost 50 years old; my age can't stop me from evolving every day. Just walk through the door and let me prove you wrong! I look forward to seeing you at Pole Heaven!
